About Red Gate Gallery

The Red Gate Gallery organizes a wide range of exhibitions catering to a variety of themes, cultures, material and mediums. The Red Gate Gallery founded in 1998, has hosted more than 470 exhibitions throughout this time of a little more than a decade!

The exhibitions are held in a way to cover every generation of art. The art that is exhibited belongs to younger artists, established artists and emerging artists, thus covering a wide array of possible artistic ideas. The Gallery could be hired at a very affordable rate for any type of project. It also offers its studios, five in number for hire and internships for art students who are interested in experiencing the life in a gallery. The Red Gate also runs a bar which offers a variety of drinks for its visitors, to ensure an enjoyable stay. Its speciality is its offering of a Moorish variety of in-house cocktails!   

The Gallery is open from 11.00 am to 6.30 pm from Monday to Friday. During the weekend, it is open on Saturdays from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

Location

To get to the Red Gate Gallery, you can take the buses Brixton/Camberwell no. 35, 45, 345, P4, the train to the Loughborough Junction or Farringdon, Blackfriars, Elephant and Castle or Sutton via Herne Hill through the river Thames.
